Can You Really Learn Self Defense From Just Watching A Martial Arts Video? “Learn How To Survive Any Violent Attack In 1 Hour Or Less!” Regardless of your size, age, experience, man or woman it will take you less than 60 minutes to know exactly what you need to know to survive a deadly assault, guaranteed. What’s the deal, do you have to become an ultimate fighter, super soldier or grand master 10th degree black belt to be able to defend yourself? Do you need years of martial arts training and dedicate countless hours in a self defense class to know exactly what you need to do to survive? Can you really learn self defense from sitting in front of your T.V.? Absolutely, in the age of distance learning, we’ve taken the same principles that apply to online education courses and concentrated them into the ultimate “self defense survival 101 course”. With the right strategy and only a handful of proven techniques that consist of instinctive, natural movements you can fight, escape and survive even the most dangerous criminal. Once you know how to exploit any criminal's 3 greatest FEARS you will be able to walk with confidence knowing that you have a plan that is based on centuries of hand to hand, close quarter combat and police intelligence. It all began back in 1947 a group of soldiers and police officers created a self defense program that took the most effective martial arts techniques that were already proven to work in real world self defense situations and developed a program specifically to teach anyone to protect themselves with the smallest amount of training possible. When we started teaching this system at The Self Defense Company, we immediately recognized its incredible effectiveness. We also noticed that it had some holes that needed to be filled. We spent eight years refining it and developing it so that even the meekest, smallest out of shape couch potato had a fighting chance against even the most deadliest of criminals. The goal was never to create a super martial arts master; it won’t happen just by watching a video (sorry, no magic pill here). The goal of this self defense program was to teach anyone how to survive with the smallest amount of time invested in training as possible. Because when you get down to it, self defense is NOT about being the toughest, roughest man (or woman) on the planet. Self defense is about self preservation, not total victory. If you want to learn how to take someone apart piece by piece, then look at The Self Defense Training System or begin training with an Accredited Professional Self Defense Company Instructor. If you want to know how to increase your chances of survival with the least amount of your time invested, keep reading… Get The Most Out Of Your Time… It’s obvious that time is scarce these days. But it’s also no secret that violent crime is on the rise. What’s even more frightening is that the violent nature of crime is escalating at an astonishing rate. To the point that even police officers are out manned and out gunned. What chance do you stand against an armed, determined and capable assailant or multiple assailants? Without the right training or experience you’re at their mercy and if you want to leave the collective fates of you and loved ones in the hands of some sociopath then you will not be interested in what I have to say and you should go back to the save-the-albino-whale site you were just on. But if you want to know what you can to do to survive ANY attack from ANY assailant, then you’ve come to the right place. DO NOT BE MISLEAD! This is not instant-ninja; tear a man apart by just looking at him BS that you’ll find on a multitude of martial arts and self defense sites and martial arts video catalogs. This is a proven method of self preservation designed so that if you can raise your arm, you can protect yourself effectively. This is the same introductory course our Professional Self Defense Instructors receive $300 to $600 and up to teach people like you who want to know what to do if placed in the unfortunate situation of being stalked, assaulted, raped or worse. So that begs the question…. What Is The Least Amount Of Self Defense and Martial Arts Training You Can Get Away With And Still Be Considered Effective? Logic dictates a point where the minimum amount of effort (your time) meets the maximum amount of effectiveness (your ability to protect yourself). Most systems of martial arts and self defense require substantial amounts of time and training. Usually filled with a lot of complicated sporting and cultural techniques that have no place in a real fight. They also expect you to vanquish your assailant. This is absolutely possible with the right technique and the correct type of training. If you want to learn step by step how to dismantle someone in the street, then you want The Self Defense Training System, but if you’re not training consistently and correctly, you will be given a false confidence. This will lead you to put yourself into situations that could EASILY BE AVOIDED. In most cases, you need to know how to identify potentially dangerous situations and how to increase your ability to survive. You want to know how to be safe, more aware and survive any physical assault. In the martial arts and self defense video “Self Defense For The People!: Seven Simple Lessons Guaranteed To Save Your Life” you will discover effective self defense without ever setting foot in a self defense class or martial arts studio. Self Defense For The People! This system of self defense can be used by anyone; it utilizes techniques that come naturally, are easy to learn, highly effective and don’t require a great amount of athletic ability, strength or time in training. When we say everybody, we mean EVERYBODY. If you can raise your arm or leave your house, you should be able to protect yourself! To do this we took these specialized martial arts techniques and put them in a progressive seven lesson self defense training course designed to maximize retention and effectiveness. In the first few minutes of watching Self Defense For The People, you’ll discover how easy it is to create a plan and develop your own “Line Of Defense” that will guarantee your safety. These seven simple self defense lessons reveal the natural threat progression that allows you to respond with an “escalation of force”. Meaning, you only fight as hard as you have to. Can you find this at your local martial arts studio? Unless you live near a Self Defense Company Professional Instructor, you will not find this system ANYWHERE. Martial arts and self defense have been taken over by combat sports and the line between reality and the ring has been confused to the point that it is dangerous. Now average people are taught to be kick boxers, ultimate fighters and mixed martial arts masters. This is all well and good, but it has little to do with self defense. Let me tell you a 100% absolute TRUE STORY One day while working out with the local judo, mixed martial arts crew at another dojo in New Jersey I overheard a few EXCELLENT competitors and martial artists talking about teaching self defense. When I say excellent I mean guys who competed in the 2000, 2004 Olympics, Pan Am Games and various HIGH PROFILE mixed martial arts events. It seems that these guys have been approached on several occasions to teach self defense to women, teens and beginners. Naturally people assume just because they’re world class competitors with various Black Belts they know all there is to know about real fighting. (I was involved in the martial arts for over 15 years before I discovered what real fighting was about). Before I continue, let’s get one thing straight, when it comes to protecting themselves, these guys are tough customers and no doubt could handle 99% of the population. But when it came to teaching self defense to someone without any experience, size or strength, they didn’t have a clue!!!! Imagine the scene, 200 and 280 pound world class athletes guessing how to teach self defense. By there own admission, they didn’t know where to start. They tried to piece something together the best they could based on what they thought would work. No science, no research, no system, just punch kick and scream. Remember A Tough, Accomplished Martial Artist Does Not Make These were World Champions and they didn’t even know the first thing about self defense. To be honest, I would have been just like them if I didn’t receive the training I did. Everyday at The Self Defense Company we get more and more accomplished martial artists, police officers and military men joining our self defense programs. Not because they don’t fear for their own safety but because they fear for the safety of their students, partners and team members. They want to give them real self defense skills they can use. They realize that most of the students in their primary martial arts classes are not going to train like them, have the same attitude and dedication so their conscious tells them they need to teach them techniques they can use, and it starts with this program of self defense. How the Seven Simple Lessons of Self Defense Work: “Self Defense For The People!” is built around a simple and specific repeatable curriculum designed to maximize retention and effectiveness. Lesson One: Avoidance and Technology Lesson Two: Empty Hand Techniques From The Standing Position Lesson Three: Multiple Assailants Lesson Four: Single Hand Assaults Lesson Six: Defense Against A Standing Attacker From The Ground Position Lesson Seven: Ground Escapes When it comes to self defense, there are some things everyone needs to know. In “Self Defense For The People!” you’re given only what you need when it comes to escaping and surviving any attack, no matter how big, aggressive or dangerous your assailant is. This is The Most Efficient Form Of Self Defense Bottom Line: You get Maximum Impact with Minimum Training. You’ll learn to invest the time you have to achieve maximum effectiveness of the techniques and principles. Just by watching lesson one you will be better of than before. But that’s not all, each lesson is filled with life saving techniques and strategies you can take with you and easily recall when you need them most. Now, if you’re already training in The Self Defense Training System This information is covered and you don’t need “Self Defense For The People”. But if you just want to know only what you need to survive in even the most desperate of self defense situations, this is the only place you’ll find it. Will Just Watching This Self Defense Video Save Your Life? In a word YES!!! In the first lesson you’ll learn how to avoid threats and potential set ups. You’ll discover how to know if you’re being followed or stalked. You’ll learn how non-lethal technologies when properly applied can make the difference between survivors and victims. You May Not Be Able To Defeat All Comers, Defeating your assailants requires training (that’s what The Self Defense System and The Professional Instructors Provide) but surviving any attack requires only the right technique applied in the correct manner. At the Self Defense Company we don’t train fighters, we train survivors and protectors. Now you may not be able to hook up with a Self Defense Company Professional Instructor (I strongly suggest that you do if you have the chance). To train with one of our instructors the tuition is $300 to $600 and up- which is still a bargain at the price. We understand if you’re not ready to invest in this type of training but tragedy can strike at any moment and every law-abiding citizen needs this critical information: so for a limited time we are making this program available to the public. How much is a little Normally you would have to pay $300 for this critical self defense information But as an introductory offer you can get “Self Defense For The People!” for:

Links to Martial Arts Articles A Brief History Of Martial Arts in the Modern Military Many martial arts are derived from military combatives; the study of hand-to-hand combat and martial arts in warfare. After all, the term "martial art" means "art of warfare." For example, the sport or judo comes from jujutsu, which comes from samurai grappling, which was part of the training Japanese warriors received as preparation for battle. Many weapon-oriented martial arts, such as iado, kendo, kyudo and naganata-do originated in schools of martial techniques for warriors. These weapons, the sword, bow and arrow, and pole arm, were the assault rifles and machine guns of their time--the default weapons of military fighters--and as such were key components in combat training. The Western interest in East Asian Martial arts dates back to the late 19th Century AD, due to the increase in trade between America with China and Japan. Relatively few Westerners actually practiced the martial arts, considering it to be mere performance. Edward William Barton-Wright, a railway engineer who had studied the martial art Jujutsu while working in Japan between 1894–97, was the first man known to have taught Asian martial arts in Europe. He also founded an eclectic martial arts style named Bartitsu which combined jujutsu, judo, boxing, savate and stick fighting. William E. Fairbairn, a Shanghai policeman and at the time a leading Western expert on Asian fighting techniques, was recruited during world War II by the Special Operations Executive (SOE) to teach UK, U.S. and Canadian Commando and Ranger forces Jujutsu. The seminal self-defense book Kill or Get Killed was written by Colonel Rex Applegate, who worked closely with Fairbairn to train the "First Special Service," a joint U.S. and Canadian army unit; it became a classic military treatise on hand to hand combat and created the reality based martial art "Defendu." Modern variations that can still trace an authentic lineage to Applegate are very few . The undisputed "father" of Modern close-combat is Carl Cestari who had a direct relationship with both Colonel Applegate and WWII self-defense pioneer Charlie Nelson. In 2006 Carl Cestari was named one of the top 10 "Most Dangerous Men On The Planet" by Black Belt Magazine. Seeing the need to bring these legitimate and proven techniques and method of close-combat back into the Modern world of "hobby" Martial Arts (Karate, Kung Fu, Capoiera, Aikido, etc.) and "sport" Martial Arts (Judo, Brazilian Jui-jitsu, Wrestling, Kick Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Ultimate fighting , etc.), one of Cestari’s top students, Damian Ross and his instructors have dedicated their lives to teaching, instruction, and spreading the "truth" about Martial Arts, street fighting, self defense, and close combat. This site is the only link to that legacy Please be aware of the following common misspellings as relates to common martial art searches: martial atrs, martial atrs weapons, martial arts spuplies, martial arts eqiupment, martail, marital arts uniforms, amrtial arts supply, amrtial arts books amrtial arts.
